How do I...

Register to vote or update my voter registration? Click here. The deadline to register to vote or update your registration for the November 7 election is October 9.

Make sure I'm registered for the upcoming election? Click here and enter your information. You can register to vote any time, but registration must be received 30 days before an election to be eligible to vote in that election. It's a good idea to check your voter registration before every election! To plan to vote in the November 7 election, check your registration before October 9.

Request an absentee ballot? Click here and scroll down to find the correct absentee ballot request form for you. Fill it in, print it out, and either mail it to the Tuscarawas County Board of Elections or deliver it there yourself. The BOE must receive your application at least seven days before the election. The Tuscarawas County Board of Elections is located at 101 E High Ave. in New Philadelphia (inside the courthouse building).

Track my absentee ballot? Click here and enter your information. Then click on "Absentee Ballot Status" or "Check the Status of Absentee Ballot" to see whether it has been sent or received. 

Find early voting hours? This is where early voting hours will be posted. Note that all early voting takes place at the Tuscarawas County Board of Elections, 101 E High Ave. in New Philadelphia. (Look for the "Vote Here" sign.)

Find my voting precinct and polling location? Click here and enter your information. Polling locations can change! Make sure you check before you leave to vote.
