We did it! We are on the ballot!

The League of Women Voters of Ohio, along with the rest of the Fair Districts Coalition, gathered 731,306 signatures to get the Citizens Not Politicians amendment on the November 5 ballot. If you signed our petition, your signature made a difference!

But there is still work to do! 

1. Check your voter registration! Make sure you are ready go vote in the November election! The deadline to register or change your voter registration is October 7.

2. Make a plan to vote! You can request an absentee ballot now, and it will be sent to you at the beginning of October. You can plan to vote early at the Tuscarawas County Board of Elections, starting October 8. Or, you can go to your polling location on November 5. Remember to bring a friend, too!

3. Tell everyone you know! Talk to your family, friends, and neighbors. Tell them why gerrymandering is a problem and what they can do to stop it in Ohio. Need help? Click here to learn more about gerrymandering and how the Citizens Not Politicians amendment will stop it.
